Sometimes you go to the science museum. Sometimes the science museum comes to you!

Siemens’ mobile energy technology showcase is coming to Capitol Hill! Check it out at Garfield Circle, in front of the U.S. Capitol! MAP LOCATION HERE

Siemens Living Energy Lab is an interactive, augmented-reality experience that brings to life the power ecosystem from generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption.

As part of Infrastructure Week, the Lab – a one-of-a-kind truck-based exhibit coming to Washington, D.C. for the first time – will show visitors how advanced energy management technologies help U.S. industries and communities improve their energy infrastructure, efficiency, and reliability. This advanced, augmented-reality showcase offers the ultimate technology experience, with innovative solutions to tomorrow’s energy challenges.

Whether it’s finding better ways to keep the lights on, integrating alternative power generation sources, or managing energy distribution, the experience illustrates technology’s impact on the 21st century landscape. The lab also features an immersive exhibit where visitors can “build” their own microgrid!
