Washington, DC is more than a home to the nation’s Capitol. It is a thriving city a the cutting edge of innovation in project development, funding and finance, permitting, and breaking down institutional barriers. This 1+ hour walking tour will visit 4-5 project sites, all within a few block radius of the WMATA Navy Yard Metro Station.

Join urban planning and other experts from Georgetown Uninversity and AECOM for a morning walking tour of some of DC’s most interesting projects, including:

  • DC Water pumping station
  • CSX railroad undergrounding
  • Southeast Riverfront AP
  • U.S. Department of Transportation Headquarters
  • And more…

There is no cost to participate in this event. The tour will end around 9:45 back at the US Department of Transportation/Navy Yard Metro Stop.
