National Infrastructure Week: Kent County, Rhode Island

This year, May 14th to May 21st is National Infrastructure Week across the United States. Joining nearly 400 organizations across the nation, Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank is planning to bring a week of exciting announcements, roundtable discussions, and project highlights across Rhode Island. On May 18th, the following locations will feature Infrastructure Week events put on by Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank:

RI Airport Corporation

  • Breakfast
  • Roundtable with City / Town Officials and local business leaders to discuss infrastructure investment opportunities

Warwick Public Library

  • Visit De-icing Management Facility (Glycol Recovery)
  • Tentative Press Event

Governor Francis Farm, Warwick (1-2PM)

  • Site visit Pumping Station at Governor Francis Farm Phase II and to tour the Wastewater Treatment Facility and berm

East Greenwich (2-3PM)

  • Site visit to East Greenwich wastewater treatment facility to view upgrades that they are undertaking at the facility
