Live Resurfacing Demo

BOSTON – Thursday, May 9, 2019 – Mayor Martin J. Walsh on Monday will join members of the Boston Public Works Department, the Office of Workforce Development, and Boston residents to kick off National Infrastructure Week.

As part of the kick-off, there will be a live resurfacing demo, which will show the City of Boston’s process for resurfacing neighborhood streets and improving the overall infrastructure of Boston.

National Infrastructure Week is celebrated by over a 100 cities and towns across the nation, as a way to highlight the state of our nation’s infrastructure.

**Please note that Ritchie Street will be closed for the resurfacing demonstration. We ask media members to enter the District Yard via Highland Street. Plenty of parking is available.
