Paving the Way for Indo-Pacific Infrastructure Development

Issues and Opportunities - a Public-Private Dialogue

Hosted by Embassy of Australia in the USA

The Embassy of Australia and the U.S. Department of State are hosting a public-private dialogue on Indo-Pacific infrastructure development issues, during Infrastructure Week in Washington, DC.

The discussion will:

  • Raise awareness among private sector participants of US and Australian government commitments and initiatives on infrastructure development in the Indo-Pacific region
  • Deepen understanding in governments of the practical constraints and opportunities facing the private sector in making infrastructure investments in the region
  • Identify priority issues and opportunities in the region to address through public-private cooperation

Business community representatives from finance, construction/engineering, and sectors directly impacted by infrastructure gaps will be invited to share real-world perspectives on the constraints and opportunities for private infrastructure investment in the region. Your participation will inform the direction of US-Australia cooperation, while providing the private sector with insights into government efforts on this issue.

By invitation only. For information, please contact:
